Here is what the Republicans in the House should do. They should recite the Constitution, especially the part that says all spending and taxing bills will begin in the House of Representatives. They should then say our voters supported us to be fiscally responsible and to not raise taxes, even if yours love to pay taxes. We are standing by our plan. We will offer you spending cuts, no new taxes and deal with it. Unfortunately as I rewatched Braveheart recently I realized both Repubs and Dems in Congress tend to be like the Scots noblemen looking for the king's deal. Let's yell "Freedom."
