When a boy in the 40's we would gather at the old radio for about 10 minutes of news. To open we would hear a commercial, one in the middle (short) and one at the end. Very little opinion, just news. Now you can turn on the news 24/7 and it is somewhere between the commercials somewhere. Mostly opinions and very little news. Many really stupid questions. Women commentators who don't trust their mikes and yell through their noses. They move their mouth but they shriek like a fingernail on a chalkboard. It is a trend that started in the late 70's and they all sound alike with blond hair, skimpy dresses and a wild and crazy TV setting. Opinions may interest some people but I prefer news backed by facts. Obama freeloads on news.
