I was listening to a celebrity talk about taxing the rich and it occurred to me that Hollywood types, television media types (Barbara Walters) and sports types who serve society by entertaining us should be taxed at 80-90% of their income. If an actor earns $10 million for a movie (especially a violent one), and they are taxed 80% of that, they will still have plenty of money to sniff up their nose. I mean, common, I am a teacher and I somehow live off of what I make and I doubt I will ever make $10 million for a season of my work, or episode...oh, there is a lovely thought...making $10 million an episode for my reality show each day. All said, very tongue in cheek. I enjoy being entertained when I have the time.
