I've reached the age when I think violence is excessive in movies, both on theater screens and TVs. Although I still like the old westerns that cannot compare with the "modem" violence that Hollywood parades because its directors and writers cannot conceive of good stories with no violence! One wonders how many drive-by shootings will the movie, "Djanko," encourage. One of the most popular movies of all time, "Casablanca," had very little violence in it. The ugly truth: Hollywood is out of new ideas and new plots and just relies on spraying more bullets on the screen!
