“The separation of church and state says that government shall not designate an official state religion.” Eh, excuse me, but the phrase “separation of church and state” is not found in our Constitution ANYWHERE! What it actually says is “CONGRESS shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion…” When Congress starts making religious laws, I will worry. Congress is nowhere in this discussion. Our Constitution says nothing about schools, nor does it speak of any other branch of government. The Constitution makes it very clear that the prohibition of government into religion is for CONGRESS.
