I think that they're going to use Obamacare as a vehicle to establish penalties/taxes on guns and ammunition making the case that, like tanning booths and cigarettes which cause health related illnesses and thus increased costs, the physical and emotional health costs from these kinds of gun related events need to be paid for by gun owners. Then they can make the costs of owning and operating a gun so high that no one can afford them, then it will no longer be a second amendment issue, it will be a “fee” issue, and they won’t have to face supreme court challenges. Of course then they can also put a “fee” on anything and everything which they claim causes increased healthcare costs and we’re screwed.
