Except for the ban on imports, the Clinton "assualt" weapons ban was cosmetic and in fact increased production of US made AR platforms. The guns just no longer had bayonet lugs or flash suppressors and magazine size was cut to ten rounds. The company that produces the Bushmaster was itself a result of the ban. It almost hurts to watch when liberals try to think.
