Inherent in this conception is the foolish belief that Constitutional Rights are ever subject of popular opinion polls. Does the right of free speech depend on the outcome of a poll? If so, then the media must be silenced, people do not trust them or approve of them. How about Congress, which has a 9% approval rating? Should Congress be abolished by popular consensus even though it is Constitutionally established? This is just pure foolishness.
