Amen! Of course, there should be academic standards, home schoolers should meet, but those I know, far exceed the minimum! Home schoolers network with one another. Parents can use time more wisely, decide what their own children can have at meals, take them on field trips, travel, etc. They can pray, learn the history of our founding, the constitution, and the principles on which this country is based. They can be taught how to balance a checkbook, read a contract, and acquire the tools necessary to live productive life. Yes, much to be said for and to recommend home schooling, if possible. Feel very sorry for the good teachers and good kids left behind in the public school system.
