According to my doctor, whose practice had to hire 3 additional people to input this data, there is NO sharing because there are multiple software companies offering the records data packages and none of them communicate with each other. Your doctor may have brand x, and your hospital have brand y and guess what? THEY DON'T TALK ACROSS THE BRANDS!!!!!
