Sorry but what laws of war for the treatment of prisoners? Manning was held in accordance of the UCMJ which is the governing law covering U.S. Military Personnel. There is no right to a speedy trial under the UCMJ. There was NO violations of any applicable Federal or International laws in how Manning is being confined or tried! Both Federal and International Laws are quite clear on the fact that only the UCMJ applies to the manning case.
