These stories remind me of another government who picked & chose those who should live or die. In Nazi Germany, most people who were gassed/murdered were the very young, the elderly & those in poor health. This was due to the belief that only those who could contribute to government via slave labor were deemed "valuable" & allowed to live. The rest received a death sentence because they were useless to the regime. It appears that Great Britain has the same beliefs; when infants are born ill, they are perceived to be of no use to the government, & therefore allowed to die. It's the same with the elderly; they're no longer able to positively contribute in terms of work production, so they are denied life-saving medical procedures.
