Excellent article. Since McCain refused to appear on the Mark Levin show and therefore snub Conservatives, I use that as a barometer to determine a candidate's conservatism. Romney also refused to appear and I didn't initially support him because a conservative would feel at ease on Levin's show. To illustrate the point, Marco Rubio, Alan West, and Ted Cruz all were on multiple times. Romney was trying to be a conservative, but offended the Ron Paul supporters at the convention with the delegate shenanigans, as well as ignoring the Tea Party entirely. It will take someone who actually believes what the Constitution says and can articulate it's wonderful attributes to the average voter. We do have a good cadre coming up.
