Nothing "wobbly" about them. They are thoroughly documented. The middle class, which predates union power came into being because improvements in compensation, working conditions and prosperity continued steadily and substantially from the very beginning of the Industrial Revolution. Consequently child labor declined from nearly 100% to less than a fifth of that BEFORE either unions, laws or mandatory education had any material impact. What do you find "wobbly" about these basic facts?
