This must be the same Ed Asner that was the head of the Screen Actors Guild in the 1970s? Out of GREED, he took SAG out on strike and television had to live without them. Almost immediately, reality shows were introduced; I think Real People was the first. Many people were commenting at the time that they didn't mis SAG. Most of us believed that actors were overpaid to do a job where someone else had to tell them what to say. He would have followed Ronald Reagan by about 20 years, but Ronnie grew up and got smart. Maybe there is hope for Ed?
