Ah, journalistic integrity at its finest.
We've known for years that the word "Honest" when associated with "Journalist" is almost always a contradiction in terms. I would say that journalistic integrity all but disappeared years ago, but that would allow for it to have existed in a general sense at any time.
Bottom line, the journalist's job is not to report the news, or even to affect social change. The job is to sell papers, attract viewers or listeners, or get people to go to your website. If the unvarnished, unbiased truth leaks out, it's more likely by accident than by design.
