What unions will never tell you is that "right-to-work" does NOT ban union organization. It simply states that people opposed to union tactics or union politics cannot be forced to pay for union thuggery. The UAW will still have a strong presence in Detroit, I'm sure, because many of its members would likely join willingly anyway. "Right-to-work" also doesn't interfere with unions' rights to collectively bargain. Further it allows businesses to run non-union shops which are less expensive and more productive.
