I have read that most mosquito nets distributed in Africa are impregnated with a small amount of DDT because it increases the nets' effectiveness in preventing malaria. And I have read that DDT sprayed on walls is quite effective because the mosquitoes tend to land on the walls frequently. And Hillinger, are you saying that the use of DDT increases the incidence of malaria? Do we have a cause ans effect issue?
