Second as a humanist I don’t ask for the government to further anything I believe about religion, but she and others like her do. Would she be happy with kids taken to a mosque to learn about the life of Muhammad as taught by devout Muslims? Of course not, but when humanists/atheists like me object, we are called intolerant. The irony is lost on her and others like her.
Lastly the idea that CHristianity is not a religion is absurd. Even if true, which I find highly improbable it meets easily the definition. Belief in the supernatural, belief in a deity, etc. If it is not a religion then the term religion is meaningless. All religious believers say their own religion is true, what makes you so special Ms. Brown?
