I'm an old 64 year old guy and I've seen this kind of thing my entire life. I remember back during the Vietnam War where the rock singers made millions off the records they sold condemning the war while at the same time hypocritically criticizing the corporations that they said were also making money off the war, i.e. Dupont, weapons manufacturers, etc. So the rockers all made money off their condemnation of the war while the corporations made money off the war by manufacturing the tools of war. The fact is that the rockers were no better than the corporations but could have taken the moral high ground had they refused to take any of the profits from the songs that they wrote, produced, sold, etc. BTW I am Vietnam Vet.
