The hypocrite named Bob Costas has gotten rich, making millions of dollars, promoting the violence that is the NFL. Many of these athletes have been coddled since their high school days. They've been held to a different rather lower standard as would be required from someone not as gifted. These special people pay a price, sometimes the ultimate price, for the chance to play in the NFL. Throughout the game head injuries have been receiving not only attention but action with the league administering increased penalties for some types of contact. In focusing attention on firearms for the Belcher tragedy it is conceivable that Mr. Costas is really protecting the goose that laid his golden egg.
