It's fairly obvious that their raw numbers of suicides mixed with their statistics supports a correlation AT BEST.
And it's even more obvious that parental support will lead to less teen suicides. Too bad no one had addressed the fact that, if consent laws encourage the good parents to provide more support, it will also encourage the abusers to react. The problem with parental consent isn't what happens with the good parents who provide emotional support to their kids--the problem is that, in the circumstances where the pregnancy is due to incest or abuse within the family, consent laws can actually empower the abuser to cover up his crimes.
And the above statistics do nothing to undercut that proposition...
