Whether it was dithering on SB6 (where he failed to jump at the opportunity to bring teachers, parents and municipalities together for the benefit of Florida students and penned a last-minute veto) or jumping out of the environmentalist closet right after he was elected governor in 2006, Crist is one tough politician to nail down as to what principles he stands for when the winds start blowing. It's next to impossible to find a legislative issue that Crist clearly stated his position on and ultimately helped shape to his constituents' benefit. But I've got to concede, the guy takes a good picture for use on advertisement billboards.
