O'Reilly lays out his threadbare philosophy. "The good ole days" is his only rallying cry. No defense of conservatism on the basis of principles or success, just he misses the way we were.
We shouldn't be surprised, despite branding himself as a high caliber intellectual, O'Reilly got his degree in Communications. He touts himself as a Harvard educated elite, but note that his Harvard experience is a Master degree from the Kennedy School of Government: a new add-on to Harvard and not a prestigious add-on at that.
Bill can only imagine a golden age then claim we've fallen short of that ideal. Somehow the rubes swoon.
