Then maybe, Brent Bozell should actually try writing like a person who knows what he's talking about. The only reason he provided for 2016's consideration as a contender for an Oscar is it's box office. He did not manage a single statement relating to the film's qualities, technical or otherwise, that should merit award contention. He did not talk about the film's cultural relevance to justify it's contention either. A columnist who writes about Hollywood and the media should be able to do those things. Instead, he ranted about what he doesn't like about the potential nominees and only brought up box office earnings as a positive for 2016. A columnist should be able to use industry jargon to make an argument, not just whine incessantly.
