Allegheny County in Western Pennsylvania is a Blue (Pittsburgh) island surrounded by a sea of Red Counties. Off the top of my head I can name 40 ex-friends and relatives, maybe 70, who have left to "find greener pastures" and I'm talking about all over the country. Pittsburgh has been ruled by a Democratic Mayor for 7 decades and that's how long it took them to nearly, by the slimmest of margins, bankrupt the city. The population has steadily decreased for the past 60 years from around 600,000 to 320,000. It's so bad that friends on the police force were forced to make a decision about 8 years ago: retire early or their pension would be cut by an astounding $600 PER MONTH, if they decided to NOT retire and continue on the job. Liberals.
