How does the Constitution Conservative see the role of the federal government as we approach steady-state non-growth economies around the world? Who will be responsible for all those unemployed people outside of the core essential industries (agriculture, distribution, basic goods & services, recycling, systems maintenance, medical ,etc.) who were previously were in industries skimming wealth off the top (advertising, luxury items, fashion, cosmetics, electronic toys, investment bankers, etc.). Should we try to prepare the society for the changes beforehand or do we just let nature take its course believing structures will have time to adapt?
