Corbett is correct, Bear: Multi-generational economic suffering is the clear and present danger. Regarding Bear's point about libertarian isolationism: Certainly libertarians would not have squandered a trillion dollars and 6000+ lives (talk about shovel-ready investment ...) for negligible, if any, benefits in Iraq and Afghanistan. But I'm not certain of the consensus libertarian thinking on an issue like what to do if Iran has, or is close to having, a nuclear bomb. Recall that Pakistan, no one's idea of a stable, logical country, has had nuclear weapons for years.
