You are correct that the Fed. spending needs cut, of course that also requires a budget to be passed, which the House has passed 30 times and sent to the Senate where it collects dust and cobwebs on Reid's desk. Germany has tax rates for single, no defendants at 45%, but that covers all their taxes (Fed, State, health, SSI), but they also have 25% of the population that does not work. So Wendy, how much are all your taxes taken from your pay percentage wise? Also Europe has VAT, which raises the cost of everything you buy. And gas is about $8 per gallon.
