Dear ZC, The shootings in Aurora, Virginia Tech, New York, etc., all occurred in places where law abiding citizens with lawfully issued concealed carry permits were prohibited from carrying their weapons. I used to work at a shopping mall just a few miles from the center where the Aurora shooting occurred. The rules didn't even allow OFF DUTY POLICE to carry their weapons! We need more gun rights, not less, to curb these acts of violence. The criminals all chose targets where they knew the victims were unarmed. Sincerely, John Lepant Brighton CO
