Most of America's graduating medical students swear an oath that has evolved from what is known as the Hippocratic Oath. It is not legally binding, but probably should be; at least as far as determining who is fit to retain a license to practice medicine. The term, Primum non nocere (First, do no harm), should always be the guiding principal behind healthcare.
