I live in the UK. My very very conservative husband won't touch the paper - not because of its politics but because it is so ridiculous. In particular, the paper is notorious for sensationalising death and disease. Ask an Brit and they can tell you about 'Today's cause of cancer sponsored y the Daily Mail' There has been a fair amount of outrage over Liverpool protocols, but nothing has suggested anything close to the article cited above. For a more reliable source, the Telegraph (one of the most conservative papers in the country, but better reputation than the DM: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/9644287/NHS-millions-for-controversial-care-pathway.html
