Someone said that Puritans are constantly anxious that someone, somewhere, is having fun. It seems that Obama & ilk are constantly anxious that someone, somewhere, is undeservedly better off than the rest of us. That takes in most of the better off. For someone stuck in Obama's world, it means looking about you at the condition of everyone else. You might do some work to improve their lives, but mostly you will be fashioning the public appearance of your own life so that you look not-much better off than them. Obama might dine on wagyu beef, but you had better make a show of not being able to afford more than beans.
