For the past several years the Dimocrats and Obama have harped about Bush's "tax cuts were ONLY for the rich" and getting by with it. Now, with the fiscal cliff approaching, all of a sudden the GOP is being held responsible for allowing "tax cuts for the middle class" to expire (resulting in higher taxes on the middle class of, as Obama is now saying, $2,000.00 per family). Therefore, Republicans will be blamed for raising taxes on the middle class while Dims and Obama are only going to be complimented for "raising taxes on the rich". Why aren't the Republicans using what little soap box they have by asking where these tax cuts for the middle class came from so suddenly. They do nothing to destroy Obama's lies.
