i think the wealthy would be amenable to higher taxes if the money went to productive purposes, like rebuilding dams, bridges and roads. or how about grants to rewire our electrical grid? in this modern age there is no excuse for the 2 major power failures like the northeast has had over the past year. yes they had one a year ago also. but if the money is just going to be used for sentimental compassion for the crack leisure class and illegals so they can do more drinking and doping, even al gore might hesitate on that one. 787 billion was spent as stimulus and apparently all it stimulated was pizza hut and doritos, and nike. who wants to have their taxes raised just so the money is dumped onto the carp of society?
