BK, I'm not arguing with the morality taught in the Bible. I have no problem with reading statements of basic morality to kids in school. It's just that there's this troublesome clause about the government not establishing a religion. Reading a moral statement that might be based in the Bible is fine, but reading scripture to students is not. Would you be happy if he teachers in your kids' school started each day with a reading from the Koran?
