One point that Mr. Barone omitted, but was stressed by Prof. Sander on Dennis Prager's show was that when (minority) students do attend State Universities or Colleges that are more on par with their previous preparation, they have a better chance at succeeding, and then very often do go on to the more "prestigious" institutions -- Harvard, etc., and succeed there with flying colors. No pun intended. Prager himself (altho not a minority) said that that was his experience. After attending, I believe, a State U., he acquired the knowledge and skills that prepared him fully for the next step, which was Columbia U.
