There is a finite amount of water on the planet. some happens to be stored as ice. If all the ice melted tomorrow, we would survive. There may be some disruption on the coasts but nothing that can't be relocated or rebuilt.And there are vast areas of America that could use extra water like central Texas or Kansas. Many places affected have little or no infrastructure to speak of (mud house-dirt road) so those people will just move and squat somewhere else. No reason to ruin our economy "fixing" this.
