That is a weird list. I was expecting to see "English major" or "costume design" or the other random liberal arts degrees that often don't lead to a career. I have several special ed teacher friends, and none of them got into that field expecting to get rich! They've got incredibly hard jobs, but they all feel that they were called to that profession. And believe me, it takes special skills to be a good special ed teacher!
All in all, I just feel this article is too mean-spirited given the "helper" nature of the listed jobs. Yes, there are crappy teachers and social workers, but there are also wonderful ones who make an actual positive difference in the world.
