Of course the Republicans should not simply get out of the way and let Barry Boy do whatever he wants. For those who haven't been paying attention, the latest trend in redistribution is the so-called "wealth tax" which proposes to tax NOT income, but net assets -- in effect charging people 1% or 2% or 3% based on the value of whatever they own -- cars, houses, stocks, cash, businesses, etc. Right now the talk is about taxing people with more than a million dollars -- but just you wait. The talk will swiftly slide down to those holding assets of three-quarters of a mil, half a mil, etc. This is the biggest redistribution plan in the world -- and anyone who thinks it is smart to give Barry Boy ANY leeway at all is a moron (in my opinion).
