UN observers were surprised that voter ID was not standard - they thought it should be. Do you seriously think voter ID is unreasonably restrictive? Or just inconvenient to certain types of fraud?
Presentation is important: fair is in the eye of the beholder. Most people do not consider themselves wealthy, yet the poor in the USA are vastly better off than the poor in many third world nations. Is that fair? Should we tax all of our "rich" poor people to help the truly poor?
Better understanding of economic realities would hlp, but the ones who need it most are too busy watching "The Voice"
