I don't find the issue of religious liberty to understand, but I might find your version of it so. Would you be comfortable with a Muslim community having on a public court a "God is Great" in Arabic? I would. Would you oppose instead of Christmas time, Ramadan being when American schools are closed? The courts have made some moderate flexible rules about religious symbolism on public property or paid for with public funds that probably aren't entirely fair, but generally they work. The answer isn't atheists bad, Christians though. The answer isn't to make believe there is a war on Christmas. That's divisive and wrong.
