it may well be too late. I do recall in my very young years, carrying catastrophic medical - insurance intended to cover serious illness and injury. I paid cash to my doctor when I needed to see him - as I recall, about $45 for a visit plus lab or prescriptions. Usually less than $100. If my doctor didn't offer competitive rates, I could shop around. Really, why should the young pay much more now for health insurance just to cover the likes of me? I expect to spend more as I age on health insurance. But through ObamaCare, I will pay less and my children will pay much more.
