Joe296.....No it is not because of their salary or benefits, it is because of the pitiful results they achieve in the class rooms of America. The dumbing down of America's children in todays society is a crime or at least should be. A teachers salary and benefit package should be based on results in the class rooms, not just showing up for work everyday. We have become a pitiful nation in education starting at the third grade and continuing through college!
