I live in Oregon and this has been devastating to timber communities. The useful idiots of the EPA and their supporters meddle and simply make things worse. Species die out all of the time as conditions change. Not all change is human based either.
I remember well when DDT was banned thanks to the hysterical Rachal Carson induced fury, insects that had been almost eliminated returned with a fury, killed the trees and then they burned. Great job as usual! How much MORE habitat was lost due to the bugs and the burn than could possibly have been a consequence of limited use o pesticides?
As the old commercial said, not nice to fool Mother Nature!
