I don't blame Santorum for trying again at the nomination. He did pull in decent numbers during the primaries. However, I'm skeptical that he can pull in enough votes nationwide. This past election has shown that candidates with positions similar to Todd Akin or Richard Murdock are damaging to the GOP. And demographic shifts have made issues like gay marriage a losing issue for republicans. If Santorum seriously wants to run, he'll have to find a bettery way to convince young voters and minorities that he's worth their vote.
