If I do that, it won't re-educate me, a faithful catholic. I am very familiar with what is known as the "cause for canonization." Every candidate for sainthood has those who support his/her cause; and the Church is in fact neutral; neither in support nor opposed to the cause. The Church assigns to that candidate what we call the "devil's advocate." He's a Catholic theologian and a proven expert in the sainthood process.
