Thanks for another thought-provoking essay, Dr. Sowell. It reminds anyone who has taken an IQ test that it's just another test, affected by many factors. A co-worker known as very bright once suffered from deep depression. As part of his therapy, he was administered these tests on both his bad days and his good days. The score on good days was off the charts, and the one on depressed days was closer to average.
