In verse 1, God created the universe including the earth. Then, starting from the first day, he began preparing it for mankind. So, to a human standing on earth, the stars became visible to him on the fourth day. But the stars were already there. Otherwise, where did the light come from on the first day? And, where did the vegetation get their light on the third? But, my larger point is the bigotry and ignorance behind the GQ question.
