I visited a client in TCI-BWI last week who is originally from Canada. She told me that when her mother was diagnosed with cancer (positive verfication), it took 3 months to see an oncologist. Her husband's father had serious back issues (debilitating) and it took 1 year to get an appointment for an MRI. These are the kind of struggles she continues to hear about with the "free Canadian healthcare" system. Now that she's an expatriate outside of Canada, she sees the difference, but Canadians don't They love their so called "free" healthcare only to lose 50% of their income taxes to pay for it. It's all they know. It is true that Canadian doctors are very good, but Canada has no "private care" option.
